As construction continues on the future SB Express Lanes, 55-hour directional I-10 freeway closures and I-10/I-15 connector closures will occur over the next several months. These closures, throughout the project corridor between the Los Angeles/San Bernardino County Line and I-15, are necessary for crews to remove and repave portions of the freeway.
This past weekend there was a 55-hour directional freeway closure on eastbound I-10 between Monte Vista Avenue and Central Avenue. Beginning in late April, the I-10/I-15 connectors will be closed for 55-hours for four weekends in a row. The tentative schedule is:
Westbound I-10 to the northbound and southbound I-15 connector closed:
Detour: Westbound I-10, exit on to Milliken Avenue, turn right on Milliken Avenue to access eastbound I-10 to northbound/southbound I-15.
Northbound I-15 to the westbound I-10 connector closed:
Detour: Northbound I-15 to eastbound I-10, exit on to Etiwanda Avenue, turn left on to Etiwanda Avenue to access westbound I-10.
Construction is dynamic and schedules may change. Please plan ahead, leave early, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
