The San Bernardino Council of Governments (SBCOG) was established as a means to speak with a collective voice on issues important to the cities within the county. In August, SBCOG began a strategic initiative to collect insight on how they can benefit and serve the county. The results and feedback from an electronic survey issued to representatives of SBCOG will help shape future programs and practices, prioritize policy initiatives, and showcase the value of SBCOG to the region.
We are all keenly aware of the unprecedented challenges faced by local agencies, residents, and businesses in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, it is more important than ever that SBCOG continues its collaborative efforts and communicates effectively with one voice to maximize efficiency among regional partners. Survey results will be compiled and presented to the SBCOG committee this fall. SBCOG is committed to working together with member agencies, and the information gathered in this survey will allow the council to become better advocates for our communities and strengthen the county’s standing throughout the region and state.
