Hesperia, CA – As the Ranchero Road Interchange Project team continues to wrap up the new interchange, they will implement ramp closures at Ranchero Road and lane closures of both directions of Interstate 15 between Oak Hill Road and US 395. These safety procedure of closing the ramps and lanes allow the workers to re-stripe and install recessed pavement markers. Northbound activities will take place Monday through Thursday, April 13-16, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Southbound work is scheduled for the same days from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. No mainline detours are necessary as at least one lane will remain open at all times. During ramp closures, drivers may use Oak Hill Road or Main Street as an alternative.
In addition, daytime closures of the northbound and southbound off ramps at Ranchero Road will be needed to haul dirt to the Ranchero Road basins. One lane of the I-15/US 395 connector will be closed during this operation. These activities will be conducted Tuesday through Friday, April 14-17, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Motorists are advised to use subsequent ramps during the closures. Be advised that haul trucks will be active during this operation. The California Highway Patrol will be on hand to help ensure the safety of both the crews and motorists. Please drive safely.
