As the Inland Empire continues to grow, the need for efficient, integrated transportation solutions becomes increasingly vital. To help meet this need, SBCTA’s proposed ONT Connector project would build an underground shuttle system to transport people between the Cucamonga Metrolink Station and Ontario International Airport (ONT).
But ONT Connector is not just about improving airport access; it represents a step toward a more connected, sustainable future for the entire region.
Currently in the environmental review phase, your next opportunity to provide comment on the project is October 15 through November 29, 2024. During this public comment period, you’re invited to review the project documents and provide feedback to be considered in the final design of the project.
A virtual public hearing will be held on November 13, 2024, at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The public hearing will be a great opportunity to learn more about the project, the potential environmental impacts, and the benefits it will bring toward improving air quality, reducing congestion and supporting new technology to meet today’s transit needs. The public hearing is also an easy and convenient forum to share your feedback about the project.
Visit goSBCTA.com/ONTconnector to learn more about the project and sign up to stay informed about the virtual public meeting.
