Interstate 10 Redlands Pavement Replacement Project

SAN BERNARDINO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on the $26 million Interstate 10 (I-10) Pavement Replacement. The project replaces concrete pavement in both directions of I-10 between Ford Street in the City of Redlands and Live Oak Canyon Road in the City of Yucaipa.
Currently the project is 90% complete. Remaining work includes electrical work, vegetation control in the center median and final striping. Work is expected to continue until fall 2017.
Motorist are advised that the speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH.
Please be aware of Work Zone Safety. 
The details of work for August 9 to August 31, 2017 are as follows:

Eastbound/Westbound
Location:
Various locations between Ford Street to Live Oak Canyon Rd.
Work Details:

  • Shoulder closures
  • One lane closed
  • Intermittent ramp closures

Time:
9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (nightly)
Advanced warning signs will be placed to inform motorist of closures.
