Fall is here which means it is time for our annual Business-to-Business Expo on Wednesday, October 16. Once again, this event will seek to unite the transportation industry, fostering relationships between prime and subcontractors and educating potential bidders about contracting opportunities with SBCTA.
Prior to the Expo, the day will begin with the State of Transportation and a welcome from SBCTA Board President Ray Marquez. SBCTA leadership Carrie Schindler, Deputy Executive Director, Joy Buenaflor, Director of Transit and Rail Programs, and Tim Byrne, Director of Express Lanes will then host a panel to discuss potential challenges with delivering projects as well as innovative solutions shaping the future of San Bernardino County. The State of Transportation will conclude with a ‘question and answer’ session from the attendees.
Attendance continues to grow as this year will see more than 350 people from across the industry come and develop the relationships needed to enhance success. The Expo will feature just shy of 60 booths where attendees can connect with prime contractors for future collaboration. Several Southern California agencies will also have a booth at the Expo including Metrolink, Omnitrans, Ontario International Airport, Orange County Transportation Authority, San Bernardino International Airport, and Victor Valley Transit Authority.
