Rain impacted this week’s schedule enough to push nighttime lane reductions on the freeway to this upcoming week.
Last week’s scheduled freeway and bridge closures went as planned. As a result, NO FULL FREEWAY closures will be needed for week 2.
Now that the BIG SWITCH has occurred, crews are shifting their focus on to the demolition of the old northern half of the bridge and the subsequent construction of the new northern half to match up to what you are driving on today.

Thank you to the motorists, business owners, and patrons of the businesses located along Barton Road for your patience during the past two weeks as crews worked diligently to perform new paving and driveway work along the south side of the street. That stage of work has been completed.
Week 1 of 2 for work along Barton Road driveways between I-215 and Michigan is wrapping up. Cones will be shifting over to do the other half of the respective driveways this week.
