The upcoming week is focusing on getting utility work for water, sewer and everything through the new bridge so crews can begin the next stages of work. Don’t expect any significant traffic disruptions during this off-system activity .
Expect no freeway mainline closures this week, but there will be intermittent ramp closures on both northbound and southbound on and off ramps starting Tuesday night.
Nighttime Freeway Lane Reductions are scheduled next week on I-215 between Mt. Vernon Avenue and Iowa Avenue. Motorists should expect to see reduction of lanes during the hours of 7pm to 6am. At least one lane will remain open at all times. Periodic ramp closures at Barton Road are expected throughout the work schedule.
