Metrolink Parking Lot Slurry Seal Project

The parking lot at the Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink station will receive a needed facelift during the month of August. The City of Rancho Cucamonga will use a method called slurry seal to restore the existing asphalt and remove cracks throughout the parking lot. In addition to improving the look and feel of the parking surface the process will extend the life of the pavement by an additional 5-8 years and reduce the need for costly repairs in the future.
The parking lot improvement project will require alternating lot closures during the process. Please refer to the construction schedule provided below. Construction Schedule:
August 19th – Crack Seal Area 1 & Part of Area 2 Yellow shade, (Green shade will be open)
August 20th – Crack seal Area 2 Green shade (Yellow Shade will be open)
August 24th – Slurry Seal Area 1 Yellow shade (Green shade will be open)
August 25th – Slurry seal Area 2 Green shade (Yellow shade will be open)
August 26th – Re-stripe Area 1 Yellow shade (Green shade will be open)
August 27th – Re-Stripe Area 2 Green shade (Yellow shade will be open)
ADDED DATES August 28th-29th – Re-Stripe No Parking in green area (Yellow shade will be open)
