Metrolink’s Holiday Express Train Spreads Seasonal Joy to Rancho Cucamonga

Metrolink’s Holiday Express Train made a stop at Rancho Cucamonga on Saturday, December 2, offering a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly experience. Nearly 1,000 riders were treated to an hour-long journey between Rancho Cucamonga and Covina stations, complete with decorations, carolers, and beloved holiday characters. Metrolink hosts the event each year not only to offer families a fun holiday outing, but also to encourage increased ridership.

SBCTA participated in the event to provide information about the agency and its projects. Our team shared the cheer through sweets and Arrow-themed coloring pages. We spoke to attendees about construction on the I-10 Express Lanes and West Valley Connector projects, as well as provided updates on ZEMU.

The Holiday Express event in Rancho Cucamonga was part of a four-weekend series that began in Perris on November 25. The next stop on the Holiday Express will be in Orange County on December 16. Tickets can be purchased on the Metrolink website.
