New VVTA Mobile Apps Now Available

VVTA just released a web app and two new mobile apps that enable passengers to easily plan trips, track buses in real-time, and view route maps and schedules. In addition to the new web app available on desktop and mobile web browsers (https://ontime.vvta.org), two new mobile apps are now available for passengers with Android and Apple iOS devices, simply search “VVTA” in your designated app store.
Functionality for previous VVTA web and mobile apps has been disabled. Passengers should uninstall outdated mobile apps and replace with the new VVTA Android or Apple iOS app. Passengers who access the web app using a web browser should update their bookmark to the new web address mentioned above.

The apps, which were developed by Syncromatics, feature a live map that offers real-time traffic, bus arrival times, transit vehicle announcements, and passenger alerts. Real-time arrival predictions will soon be available via text messaging
