Notice of Public Hearing / Notice of Proposed Fare Decrease, Fare Policy Adjustment
Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) will convene a public hearing at its Board of Directors Meeting, on Friday, November 9, 2018 to evaluate potential fare policy changes with the goal of increasing ridership on the San Bernardino line. The hearing will discuss the current promotional 25% discount on the San Bernardino Line that went into effect on July 1, 2018 and ends on December 31, 2018. The Authority is currently working with the impacted member agencies to make this discount permanent to maintain existing riders and continue to grow ridership on that line.

Information regarding the proposed fare adjustments, fare policy changes and policy adoptions is available for public inspection on the Metrolink website at www.metrolinktrains.com or in the SCRRA headquarters office, located at 900 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 1500 Los Angeles, CA 90017 during regular office hours Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Comments and suggestions may be submitted orally or in writing at the public hearing, or posted in advance of the public hearing by clicking on the “eComment” option to submit an instant electronic comment at www.metrolinktrains.com/ecomments, or by mail if received in advance of the public hearing to the attention of Metrolink Fares at the SCRRA headquarters office, or faxed to the attention of Metrolink Fares before the hearing at (213) 452-0421.
All public comments, regardless of the form of communication, must be submitted and received no later than October 31, 2018. This matter may be continued by the Board to a later time or date in its sole discretion.
