US 395 Construction Alert Week of October 7

Construction Continues

As the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) continues the US 395 – Phase 1 Widening Project, crews will perform daytime work behind k-rail throughout the corridor (US 395 between SR-18/Palmdale Road and Chamberlaine Way.) Please remember all construction is dynamic and the schedule is weather-permitting and subject to change.

Nighttime Work Thursday, October 10 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. includes: Potholing for underground utilities

What to expect: Activity will be on US 395 at Air Base Road. Lanes may shift and flaggers will be present to direct traffic. Expect delays and drive cautiously.

Daytime Work includes: Install piles for sound wall construction of bridge activity will take place along the corridor near Bartlett Avenue, Joshua Wash Bridge, and Chamberlaine Way.

What to expect: Construction activity will occur behind k-rail. Crews and equipment will be visible. Please use caution and be safe when driving through the corridor.

Please note, VVTA Route 31, 33, and 54 will be on long term detour in Adelanto and Victorville beginning Wednesday, August 14. During this time, six bus stops will not be served. Please click here for more information.
